to be warmed at the hearth of a pixie’s hot fire
From like grew something more, impossible to capture
a low internal buzzing growing towards rapture
It was love and it was passion, intense and consuming
it crossed the great gap of the distance always looming
Across the quiet chasm, our yearning unabated
our connection stands strong against desires unsated.
We wait and we love and wonder at forever
and smile as we know our paths are fated together.
